Welcome to The Pink Lily Pad and Two Tadpoles

I attempt natural living using herbs and essential oils to the best of my ability.  My garden grows many of the plants I like to use for homemade remedies.  I have a strong love for the power of essential oils.

My blog started from the voluminous amount of time I seemed to spend in the kitchen.  Of course, that choice was mine, as I attempt to recreate many processed and prepackaged store-bought foods with homemade versions.  So, I really cannot complain.  And it was my mini meltdown that brought this blog into fruition–read my first blog post for the full story:

Since that day, it has grown and changed. My blog has now become a place where I can store and share my recipes–for food, essential oils, herbs, and more! I hope this can be a stop for easy reference and inspiring ideas. Thank you for being here!
