I found this recipe in my Grandmom’s collection. The recipe card was in her handwriting. We always had similar cranberry sauce like this on the table. She claimed she never made a cranberry sauce with brandy. So we had a good laugh over this as I thought I had found a family heirloom recipe. Now I have adopted this memory into a new tradition for my own family and make this when we have turkey over the holidays either with Thanksgiving or Christmas.
