The garbage disposal–is it worth even having? Yes, it gets rid of those food particles, but wow, does it get slimy. And a little smelly. I have enough things to clean around the house! Every few weeks I do need to scrub the sink drains with some Thieves Dish Soap and a toothbrush. But to really get down in there, I use these homemade tablets to freshen it up.
This is a quick recipe to make. It does take 2-3 days for the tablets to full dry out and harden. And no special ingredients are required.
