This is my favorite essential oil roller to make to help me sleep and to calm my racing thoughts! I roll it on my chest, wrists, and behind my ears before going to bed at night. I am a nurse who works night shift, so I also use it when I’m napping during the day.
The roller is great to use for kids for bedtime and naptime. Roll it on their backs and on the bottoms of their feet.

It smells sooooo good!
Yes, there are essential oils that work wonders but smell terrible. For example, Valerian is great for bringing on a hard sleep, but it is very stinky. You need to mask that one with a lot of Lavender!
Anyway, the roller featured here is made with Stress Away, Lavender, and Cedarwood. I made this one in a 5ml roller bottle so simply double the number of drops if you decide to use a 10ml one.

The Oils
- Stress Away: This is a blend of several oils that is described as “a vacation in a bottle.” It has long been one of my favorites, and I always have it in my house!
- Lavender: I think mostly everyone knows about this one! Lavender promotes rest and relaxation. It is a very calming oil.
- Cedarwood: This is another of my favorite oils! This one is optional to add to this roller since Stress Away already contains some Cedarwood. However, it is very soothing to my thoughts, so I like to add some extra. Cedarwood is also great to use during your yoga practice.
Directions
In a 5ml roller bottle, combine 12 drops Stress Away, 10 drops Lavender, and 8 drops Cedarwood. Top with the carrier oil of your choice. I’m using fractionated coconut oil. Roll generously on the chest, behind the ears, on the temples, or on the wrists. Breathe deeply and feel calm.
