Easy Moisturizer with Frankincense

Frankincense is a well-loved and favorite essential oil that’s been embraced for thousands of years. Just like we today refer to Lavender as “the Swiss Army Knife” of oils, Frankincense during Biblical times was viewed in the same way. It was used for everything, for worship, cleansing, embalming, perfume, sickness, and more.

Frankincense promotes glowing skin for all ages and skin types, but it has a special affinity for maturing skin. It refines, smooths, and tones to give a more youthful appearance. It evens out skin coloring and calms down blemishes.

The molecular structure of essential oils enables them to penetrate deep into skin tissues, therefore allowing them to build healthy skin starting at a cellular level.

Incorporate Frankincense Daily:

  • Add Frankincense to your favorite moisturizer
  • Apply a drop of Frankincense to the crown of your head before prayer, meditation, or yoga
  • Roll or drop along the spine for immune support
  • Massage into the back of the neck for relaxation
  • Crazy day? Add Frankincense to your diffuser alone or with Peppermint
  • Add Frankincense and Lavender to your diffuser for a restful night’s sleep

This is my favorite way to use Frankincense daily. This can be done in the morning and evening after I cleanse my face. I put a small amount of fractionated coconut oil into my palm and then add 1 to 2 drops of Frankincense essential oil. I gently rub both my palm together to combine and then apply to my face and neck.

Regular use of castor oil can also improve skin texture for several reasons. It soothes redness, boosts collagen production, minimizes blemishes, and deeply moisturizes.

Together, frankincense and castor oil make a power duo for your face!

Rejuvenate your appearance! And smell amazing!
